BERGEN (VG) (Brann – Molde 0–1) Magnus Wolff Eikrems (31) dream scoring at Brann Stadion means that the gold match lives on with two series rounds left. For Brann, it looks dark.

After relegation competitor Stabæk played a draw in the away match against Tromsø, it was clear that Brann would take over the qualifying place with a victory over Molde.
This was not the case, and with the loss, the Bergen club still has three points up to Stabæk. Thus, they must hope that the Bears give points in the last matches, at the same time as they themselves pick the necessary points.

– We’re playing an ok match. We create chances to score goals, but it will not be completely. It was a fantastic save on one, and the post on another. It feels a bit heavy, and I have a feeling that we are doing enough to score and to be able to win the match. It is perhaps the quality of the latter that is missing, says Branns Mathias Rasmussen to VG.
– I have played a few seasons in Start and North Zealand, and I have not experienced such bad luck simply. Of course, it is the quality of the finishes that is sometimes crucial, but there is an incredible amount of rod out. I do not know if I can call it bad luck, says Rasmussen.
– It’s about quality, and then it’s a bit about self-confidence in the crucial moments, says Brann coach Eirik Horneland.
– There are still opportunities. Now we have to go up to Bodø and deliver a good performance, and hopefully we are in the fight after that, says Brann striker Aune Heggebø.
