Minghui.com reported that Shi Liangyu was born in 1944 and was a retired latex factory worker in Shashi District, Jingzhou City After the Chinese Communist Party persecuted Falun Gong, was kidnapped by the police many times.
On February 28, 2000, she went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong. She was released home after her family was drawn for money.
In late September of the same year, she was kidnapped on the street by police from the Shashi District Public Security Bureau and illegally detained for two months.
In mid-September 2001, she was kidnapped to the hostel of the Yangtze River Water Research Institute and handcuffed to a radiator for ten days and nights. She was punched, kicked and shocked with electric batons. She was then imprisoned in the Jingzhou District Detention Center and was “released on bail pending trial” three months later.
On September 20, 2002, Shi Liangyu was unfairly sentenced to eight years in prison. In early November, she was kidnapped and sent to Hubei Provincial Women’s Prison. During this time, she was forced to “transform” (forced to give up practicing Falun Gong). Her hair was pulled out in bunches and she was brutally fed.
Under strong pressure, she was forced to write a “guarantee letter” to give up practicing Falun Gong, but she immediately declared the pledge invalid, and was brutally persecuted. Under the direction of the police, the prisoners deprived her of sleep for a month, beat her severely, blinded her eyes, and sent her away completely.
On June 14, 2010, when she was released from the unjust prison, she could no longer take care of herself. Blindness brings great problems in life. She died on August 6, 2024, aged 80.
During more than 20 years of suppressing Falun Gong, the Chinese Communist Party has carried out a brutal “transformation” persecution against Falun Gong practitioners. Under physical and mental torture, students were hurt, injured, and died, including some who were blinded by the persecution.
Similar to the experience of Shi Liangyu, Falun Gong practitioners in WuhanCai Changzhenmore than 20 years ago, was illegally detained in a mental institution in Qiaokou District, Wuhan City in January 2001. During this time, she was severely beaten and tortured, causing her to become blind . After that, she was unable to take care of herself, and was again kidnapped, illegally detained, raped and harassed by the CCP police. She died unjustly in March 2023. at the age of 83.

Yang Huironga native of Sanhe City, Langfang City, Hebei Province, was illegally hunted by the “610 Office” (an illegal organization that specifically persecutes Falun Gong) and the police labor camps and washing centers brain many times. Zhao Lizhuana Dalian engineer, has been illegally arrested four times since 2000, lost his job, was illegally sentenced to five years in prison, suffered various tortures, and became blind. On May 9, 2024, Zhao Lizhuan and his wife Bai Mei were kidnapped again and illegally detained in the Yantai Detention Center.
Sheng Chunmeia native of Lanzhou City, Gansu Province, was kidnapped and framed along with her husband Chen Deguang in July 2011. The couple was illegally sentenced to nine years in prison. She was tortured in Gansu Women’s Prison and suffered from severe diabetes, cataracts, gallstones, suppurative cholecystitis, deafness in both ears, and blindness in both eyes. Her husband was only released from prison in July 2020.
Jane Yanjingan art teacher at Xuanwei Normal College in Qujing City, loved by students , 2012, his home was vandalized again and he was sent to an illegal labor camp. She was injected with unknown drugs in Yunnan Women’s Prison No. 2, causing her to go blind.
Zhu Weiyingformer deputy general manager of the Meishan Hotel in Hefei, Anhui Province, was again persecuted by the CCP In June 2011, she was illegally sentenced to eight years in prison and was sent to Anhui Provincial Women’s Prison for persecution. Because she refused to be “transformed,” she was tortured with electric batons, poison injections and drugs In October 2015, she was blinded and her cervical vertebrae were stamped, causing paralysis. When she was released from prison in June 2017, her eyes were sad and she often cried.
