Eighteen ANWB mushrooms in Vlieland bring in thousands of euros | Inland

The ANWB signposts had already been replaced on the island. The so-called mushrooms of Terschelling were also previously auctioned, which also yielded a lot of money.

People who have bought such a mushroom can pick it up in Harlingen or on Vlieland. The signpost weighs 150 kilograms and has a stone upright of between 75 and 125 centimeters.

The signposts must not be visible from the public road. “Although this can create fun situations, it is not allowed to let them fulfill their old public function,” reports the organization.

The auction of the signposts was on auction site CataWiki and lasted from June 1 to Sunday afternoon.
