Eight young people arrested after a youth robbery in Oslo

The Oslo Police District states in a press release that eight young people were arrested on Thursday, suspected of robbery, after at least ten children and young people were subjected to robbery during the weekend 17-19. September.

Most of those arrested are children between the ages of 15 and 18.

The robberies took place in various places in Oslo, including Korsvolltoppen, Ullevål Hageby, St. Hanshaugen and Jernbanetorget.

The arrested have been in for questioning, and six of these have now been released. Police will present two of those arrested for imprisonment on Friday.

On Thursday, the police carried out a major operation against various addresses in Oslo and neighboring districts. They made a number of discoveries related to the robberies.
