The child’s older brother, aged 26, was arrested after the incident and then placed in police custody, and a psychiatric examination was requested against him. An investigation into attempted homicide of a minor under the age of 15 was first opened by the Vienna public prosecutor’s office, which then relinquished the case in favor of that of Grenoble.
The big brother, released from police custody for medical reasons, is today hospitalized in psychiatry in an isolation room, according to Dauphiné Libéré, which specifies that the required psychiatric examination has still not been carried out.
