Eight Ukrainians were able to move on their own with an aircraft weighing 330 tons, according to the Ukrainian news agency, at the airport of the state-owned company Antonov in the Kiev region. They broke the previous record, in which ten men moved the machine in 2003 and tightened it for a shorter distance. Antonov An-225 Mrija was developed by designers in the Soviet Union to transport the space shuttle Buran, when the machine first took off in 1988. The giant aircraft, which has a length of 84 meters and a wingspan of 88.4 meters, is the only specimen. The aircraft is still in service, loaded to fly approximately 4,000 kilometers.
