Eight players retired from hockey club HK Dukla Trenčín after the season, including defender Miguel Tourigny and forwards Rob Flick and Marek Valach. Extraligista informed about it on his social networks.

Goalkeeper David Honzík, defenders Petr Ulrych and Richard Jakubec, and forwards Jan Dalecký and Juraj Jurík will no longer wear the jersey of Trenčín next season. With the remaining players who worked in Dukla this season, the question of cooperation is still open.

Tourigny went through last year’s NHL draft, when he was selected by the Montreal Canadiens in the 7th round. He played 39 games for Trenčín in the regular season and scored 24 points (5+19). In the playoffs, he added five more starts with a goal and an assist. According to the club, the 21-year-old Canadian is headed back overseas. The new positions of the remaining players are not yet known.

The management of Dukla together with the coaching team is actively working on the composition of the staff for the next season 2023/2024. The club will gradually introduce new reinforcements after the end of this season.
