American actor Adam Rich passed away on Saturday, January 7 at the age of 54 at his home in Los Angeles. The cause of his death is currently unclear or has not yet been announced. The only thing the detectives seem to know so far is that the death was not a crime.
Rich’s spokesperson told ‘EW’ that he, too, had no further information at this time. In his Twitter statement, he describes Adam Rich as kind, generous, and a “fighter in the fight against his own psyche.”

The actor is best known for playing Bradford’s youngest son on the sitcom Eight is Enough. The sad news of his death comes a few years after that of his television father, Dick Van-Patten. The latter died in 2015 at the age of 86 due to diabetes. The bond between the two actors seems to have always been unique. Because when Rich had legal troubles in the past, his TV father helped him out and posted bail to get him out of jail. Rich had been drugged and attempted to steal morphine from a pharmacy in 1991. As a result, he was immediately arrested.
