The faithful of the parish of Saint-Front Saint-Étienne will be able to celebrate Christmas with several offices. No less than eight meetings are scheduled in Périgueux and Coulounieix-Chamiers on the evening of Thursday, December 24.
Here are the places and times of these celebrations: at 7 pm, at the church of Chamiers; at 8 pm, at the Saint-Front cathedral and at the Toulon church in Périgueux (in the extraordinary form of the Roman rite); at 9 pm, at the Saint-Martin church in Périgueux; at 10 p.m., 11:30 p.m. (vigil) and midnight (mass) at Saint-Front cathedral; at midnight at the Toulon church (still in the extraordinary form of the Roman rite). Note that the vigil and the midnight mass at Saint-Front will be chaired by Bishop Mgr Philippe Mousset.
For Christmas Day, Friday December 25, the bishop will celebrate 11 a.m. mass at the cathedral and an office, still according to the Roman rite, will begin at the same time at the Toulon church.
In the context of the health crisis, several other parishes in Dordogne have decided to suggest that the faithful reserve their place at the offices on December 24 and 25.
