Frida Kahlo Expo. The experience

How many times have you been told that “Eyes that do not see, heart that does not feel?” A lot, right? This is the title of this immersive experience that brings us closer to Frida Kahlo, that tenacious and courageous artist who rose again and again despite adversity. We live an authentic Fridakalhomania and welcome is the moment: the exhibition that can be seen from December 17 in the heart of Madrid, the Palace of Neptuneis an exciting immersive experience, made with videomapping, accompanied by revealing photographs of the artist, much loved in Mexico and who has become a universal icon.

The itinerary includes reconstructions of Kahlo’s favorite settings, such as the Blue House. Without wanting to spoil it, we guarantee that it will give you goosebumps: the videomapping is wonderful, as is the music that accompanies it. The exhibition has been curated by Alejandra López, who for ten years has coordinated the registration of the collections, the holding of temporary exhibitions and the restoration activities of Frida’s legacy at the Casa Azul, Museo Frida Kahlo in Mexico City. On the upper floor of the palace there is a space for the little ones to draw Frida and a VIP space in which to enjoy a La Paloma cocktail. The sample can be visited, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Until May 29th. General admission: 19.73 euros. Children under 6 years: free.

Circus Price at Christmas

The show will be on the bill until January 8, 2022 and in this new edition it brings us the new installment of the Cometa character: a trilogy created by the Perfordance company. On this occasion, Cometa travels around the world, which will allow us to see 25 artists from different disciplines on stage: acrobatics on elastic rope, urban circus, tightrope walking, contortion, hanger number and a special brooch with Graziella Galán, an emblematic trapeze artist from Madrid that comes to show that art has no age.
