Eight men were arrested at Ede-Wageningen station in the night from Saturday to Sunday because of a stabbing in a train. Two persons were injured in the incident.
A report of a stabbing was received from a moving train from the direction of Arnhem. The police then waited for the train.
A spokesman for the East Netherlands police says that a fight was going on in the train. It was also stabbed. One of the injured has also been arrested. The two injured sustained non-life-threatening injuries from the incident.
The police are investigating exactly what happened. The eight men are between twenty and forty years old and come from Ter Apel, Velp, Ede, Utrecht and Budel, among others.
