Eiduka wins 19th place in the FIS cross-country skiing competition in Finland

Latvian skier Patricia Eiduka on Sunday in Finland won the 19th place in the International Skiing federations (FIS) in cross-country skiing in the freestyle for ten kilometers.

Eiduka covered a distance of ten kilometers in 26 minutes and 6.01 seconds, reaching 62.78 FIS points and the winner Finland athlete Krista Permekoski conceding for a minute and 19.5 seconds.

Second place, only a tenth of a second behind the winner, was won Russia skier Natalia Nepyyaeva, but in third place was the German Victoria Karla, who gave up 1.2 seconds.

Annija Kate Sabule finished in 54th place, losing five minutes and 14.9 seconds, but Samanta Krampe finished in 58th place, six minutes and 7.4 seconds behind. They have 189.46 and 217.71 FIS points respectively.

62 skiers took part in the women’s competition.

In the men’s competition, Raimonds Vīgants took the 35th place in the freestyle in the 15-kilometer distance, and reaching 72.21 FIS points, he conceded to the winning homeowner Īvo Niskanen for two minutes and 9.1 seconds.

Second place went to Russian skier Sergei Ustyugov, losing 9.1 seconds, but his compatriot Alexei Chervotkin finished in the top three, giving way to the winner by 21.7 seconds.

Roberts Slotiņš finished in 52nd place, but Alexander Patrius 54th place, with the winner conceding three minutes one second and three minutes and 9.7 seconds respectively. Both biathletes have 93.20 and 96.72 FIS points, respectively. Eddie Eiduk also finished 69th, losing four minutes and 26.1 seconds, and Bruno Krampe finished 77th, losing seven minutes and 42.4 seconds. They both have 127.62 and 207.01 FIS points.

83 athletes finished in the competition.
