Vegtrafikksentralen west writes on Twitter that it is a gas bus. At 17.00, the Road Traffic Center reports that the tunnel is open and that traffic is free.

Both fields were initially closed.

– There will be long queues here! they wrote on Twitter.

At 15.48, the Norwegian Road Traffic Center reported that the tunnel run towards Åsane is open to traffic.

– Those who are going south towards Bergen, and have the opportunity to do so, should consider waiting for departure.

There were 20 people in the bus, and two people in each car, the police said.

Operations manager in the West police district, Eivind Hellesund, tells VG that no one on the bus has been reported injured. No serious damage to the car has been reported either. One of the drivers is appointed by health on site.

– It will be complete chaos, people have to drive via Eidsvågsneset and it is not that easy, Hellesund said.

The road around Eidsvågsneset is much narrower than the E39, and cars are often parked along the road.

– I assume that things are a bit slow in Eidsvågsneset, said Hellesund at 16.11.
