Over the course of three days during Eid Al Fitr, the National Theater in Abu Dhabi will witness the theatrical show “Farhat and the Family,” presented by the Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination, in cooperation with the Egyptian artist Mohamed Henedy.
The theatrical show “Farhat and the Family” includes talents from various categories of people of determination with special abilities, who were able to pass the performance tests and the specialized training program for the Foundation’s specific initiative “Gifted Desires,” as part of the Foundation’s strategy to support people of determination, provide an inclusive environment for them, and involve them in various fields. With the aim of consolidating the leading position of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi in the field of empowering people of determination as part of society.
A group of Egyptian stars will participate in the theatrical show, including: Mohamed Tharwat, Mai Kassab, Aws Aws, Iman Al-Sayed, Yasser Al-Tobgy, Ahmed Sultan, Rana Al-Shafi’i, Mona Gamal, and Ghaya Al-Mas, in participation with a group of people of determination: Al-Baraa Osama, Mazna Ahmed. , and Maryam Hamdan, and the play was written and directed by Nader Salah El-Din, and sponsored by the artist Mohamed Henedy, in continuation of his career and support for the “Hem Mawhiba” program.
The theatrical work “Farhat and the Family” aims to create a special creative path for people of determination to integrate them into artistic and social life, and to provide the opportunity to express the most important events.
The play deals with a purposeful social story in a comedic style, as it reviews the negative social transformations and challenges and external interactions in our society in a simple and entertaining way for the audience, whether they are young or old, with the aim of raising their awareness. In addition to highlighting the most important development goals in the country, and highlighting in particular the concept of sustainability and its importance, the goals of the “Year of Sustainability” are discussed in the play as an important part, while emphasizing the importance of the constructive and effective factor in serving the nation and achieving personal success.
The play also discusses, in a comedic manner, a number of social issues, including appearance on social media platforms, and other social situations related to family life in general.
