DUBAI, 3rd July, 2020 (WAM) — The “Positive Spirit” initiative, in cooperation with the Events Insurance Committee, the Police Station Board of Directors, and the Permanent Committee for Labor Affairs in the Emirate of Dubai, shared with workers the joy of Eid Al-Adha by organizing a variety of activities, benefiting 15,000 workers.
Brigadier Dr. Ahmed Yousef Al-Mansoori, Acting Director of the General Department of Community Happiness, Acting Chairman of the Positive Spirit Initiative Committee, confirmed that the various activities aimed to make workers happy during the Eid Al-Adha holiday, within the framework of the Positive Spirit initiative, which seeks to communicate with various groups of society through the implementation of many Community, awareness and cultural initiatives.
For his part, Colonel Mohammed Abdullah Al Marri, Deputy Director of the Jebel Ali Police Station, explained that the various activities during the holiday period for the workers category included several regions at the level of the Emirate of Dubai, including the regions of Al Quoz, Jebel Ali, and Muhaisnah, through sports activities and cultural competitions. Awareness sessions and lectures to introduce the various Dubai Police services that enable individuals to obtain various services in a smart and easy way through the smart phone application, the Smart Police Station “SPS” and via 901.
For her part, Fatima Buhajir, coordinator of the Positive Spirit Initiative, said that the initiative contributes to achieving the strategic goal of Dubai Police in enhancing security, safety and community communication with all segments of society, and confirming the societal role played by Dubai Police.
