A 31-year-old with more than two per thousand in his blood gets behind the wheel of a car and crashes into a tree. His seven-year-old daughter is injured.

Dad drives with two per thousand: a seven-year-old boy was slightly injured in a car accident in the Eichstätt district. His 31-year-old father went off the road near Großmehring on Sunday and crashed the car into a tree, traffic police said on Tuesday.
After the accident, the slightly injured driver and his daughter fled the accident site on foot. According to the traffic police, the emergency services found the injured after a search of the area.

A breath test showed the man had an alcohol level of two per thousand. Furthermore he was unable to produce a valid driving licence. Paramedics rushed the seven-year-old to a hospital. The 31-year-old is now being investigated for, among other things, culpable bodily harm.
