Amsterdam – The plans for a wealth tax will eventually cost homeowners thousands of euros extra per year. This is apparent from a calculation by the Economic Institute of Construction at the request of De Telegraaf. A committee recently came to the cabinet with proposals to skim off assets in the Netherlands, including a fivefold increase in the notional rental value and the reduction of mortgage interest relief.
