Jakarta, CNN Indonesia —
Former Minister of Defense Israel Ehud Barak who also served as Prime Minister of Israel, openly revealed evidence that the tunnel under Al Shifa Hospital (RS) in Gaza was made by Israel.
This was revealed by Ehud Barak in an exclusive interview with CNN. In the interview, Ehud Barak said that the tunnel under Al Shifa Hospital had nothing to do with Hamas.
“Yes, the tunnel exists [tapi] has nothing to do with Hamas and was actually built by Israel itself,” said Ehud Barak as quoted from CNN.
In fact, Barak emphasized that this tunnel was built by Israeli engineers and was managed by them.
“You know decades ago we managed this place, so we helped them, we helped them build this bunker to make more room for hospital operations,” said Barak.
Recently the Israeli military released a video from inside a tunnel at the Al-Shifa Hospital complex in Gaza City.
IDF spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said Hamas has a command and control center or headquarters under the hospital, which has also been confirmed by other senior Israeli officials.
However, after successfully entering the Al-Shifa hospital, the IDF was under tremendous pressure to prove its statement.
The release of this video is an attempt by the IDF to build the argument that Al Shifa Hospital was attacked because it was a Hamas headquarters. However, Ehud Barak finally opened his voice and exposed Israel’s lies about the tunnel under Al Shifa Hospital.
