El Paris Saint Germain beat Veszprm 31-26 in the match for third and fourth place in the Champions League. Both teams had to shake off the disappointment and exhaustion caused by their respective semi-final matches and stick to the schedule. In addition to the honor, there was only a few thousand more euros in prize money at stake.
Veszprm had a better start (3-0), but little by little Paris SG was showing greater interest in the game, especially from players who like Prandi had not had fortune against Barcelona, or goalkeeper Genty, who was playing his first minutes in Cologne.
The faces and attitudes of some Veszprm players showed limited commitment. Only the central Lekai, his best man in this Final Four, shone in the Hungarian team, which was conformed to its luck when Paris SG acquired clear advantages.
