Second division ice hockey club EHC Freiburg can count on a lot of support this Friday at the Krefeld Pinguinen (7.30 p.m., live on the Internet on SpradeTV). “We have a bunch of fans with us,” says EHC trainer Robert Hoffmann, because the fans have booked a special train. There should be around 500 people from Freiburg. Meanwhile, striker Shawn O’Donnell and defender Calvin Pokorny have returned to ice training, but at least in Krefeld the ailing duo will not play (Hoffmann: “We don’t want to take any risks”).
