EH Bildu has been the force with the most votes in Llodio. Ainize Gastaka’s formation has achieved victory in the second town of Álava by just 29 votes, and snatches the first position from the PNV.

So, EH Bildu remains with 7 councilors, to 2 of the absolute majority. PNV gets 6, Omnia, 3 and PSE-EE 1. Thus, the PNV-PSE coalition would not have enough councilors to seize the Gastaka mayor’s office alone.

In this town, EH Bildu has expanded from 24% to 34% their support, while the PNV has dropped from 36% to 33%. For its part, Omnia continues to lose support and drops to 15%.
Joseba Vivanco will repeat as mayor of Artziniega

For his part, Joseba Vivanco (EH Bildu) will continue as mayor of Artziniega after extending the good results of 2019. He will be mayor with 6 of the 9 councillors. The PNV will continue with 3, and the PP loses its only representative.
Victory of the PNV in Amurrio
He PNV maintains its victories in the other 3 fiefs of Aiaraldea, with special emphasis on their victory in Amurrio, where they maintain the mayoralty despite the approach of EH Bildu. PNV maintains its 8 councilors, one of the absolute majority. It is followed by EH Bildu with 7 and PSE-EE with 2.
In Okondo, the PNV reaffirms and extends its victory against the independents of Okondo Aurrera and achieves an absolute majority with 5 of the 9 councilors.
An agreement between Aiara Batuz and EH Bildu would remove the mayoralty of Ayala from the PNV

Finally, in Ayala, the PNV has lost its absolute majority and has only 5 of the 11 representatives. In addition, the independent formation Aiara Batuz has achieved a sorpasso against EH Bildu and by 4 votes he has achieved the second position.
Both formations tie at 3 points, so an agreement between Aiara Batuz and EH Bildu would give the mayoralty to Irache Parro to the detriment of the current mayor, Gentza Alamillo.
