The material says that Egypt is “resisting” the request of US representatives to send weapons to Ukraine. This creates an obstacle to the efforts of the administration of President Joe Biden to provide the Armed Forces with everything necessary for a counteroffensive. The United States is known to have asked for:

artillery shells; anti-tank missiles; air defense systems; weapon.

It is noted that officially Egypt did not reject the request for weapons for Ukraine. However, in private communication, the Egyptian side made it clear that it does not plan to transfer weapons. At the same time, the State Department notes that discussions with Egyptian partners “of mutual interest in ending the war are ongoing and productive.”

It is important that, thanks to the supplies of partners, Ukraine now has a much more modern potential than Russia. Polish President Andrzej Duda called on the world to increase the supply of weapons to our state.
