Egypt’s Economy Expected to Lead Middle East Growth, According to World Bank Report

The World Bank expected that the Egyptian economy would lead the growth of the economies of the Middle East region, with a growth of 4% during the current fiscal year, to continue its progress over the countries of the region until 2025.

According to a World Bank report on global economic growth prospects, the economic growth rate in Egypt will record 4% in 2024, increasing to 4.7% in 2025.

The bank expects the Saudi economy to grow by 2.2% in 2023, 3.3% in 2024, and 2.5% the following year.

As for the economy of the Middle East and North Africa, the bank expected it to grow by 2.2% in 2023, 3.3% in 2024, and 3% in 2025.
