The Egyptian Zamalek achieved a great victory over the Tunisian Monastir Union 4-0, on Friday, in the first round competitions in the third group of the King Salman Cup for Arab Football Clubs, which started on Thursday in Saudi Arabia.
Zamalek advanced with a reverse goal scored by Bashir bin Saeed, player of the Tunisian team, in the 27th minute, before Ahmed Sayed Zizou added the second goal in the 43rd minute.
In the 56th minute, Sayed Neymar scored the third goal for Zamalek, before the same player added the fourth goal in the 64th minute.
The group includes, in addition to Zamalek and Al-Ittihad Al-Monastiri, the Saudi Al-Nasr team and its youth compatriot, who will meet later on Friday.
Zamalek will play in the next round with Saudi youth next Monday, while Al-Ittihad Al-Monastiri will face Al-Nasr team on the same day.
Three Saudi cities will host the championship competitions, which are Al-Baha, Taif and Abha, and the competition will continue until August 12.
