A circus worker identified as mohamed suffered a devastating injury during a performance when he was attacked by a white tiger. The incident occurred while Mohamed was working near the animal enclosure. According to medical sources, the attack resulted in severe tissue and vascular damage, necessitating the amputation of his left arm.

The attack unfolded amidst a state of terror and panic among the attendees. The injured worker was instantly transported to the University Emergency Hospital in Tanta for urgent medical attention.

Official Investigation and Response

Following the incident, authorities launched an immediate investigation. The Public Prosecution has formed a veterinary committee to inspect the circus animals and determine the cause of the attack. All circus activities have been suspended pending the committee’s findings.

The Gharbia Governorate has pledged support to mohamed,including immediate financial compensation to assist him during this difficult time. Moreover, the governorate is expediting the process of allocating a monthly pension to ensure his financial security, recognizing that his injury has rendered him unable to return to his previous job.

The local government is committed to supporting Mohamed’s transition to a new career. The governorate stated that:
