Egyptian Star Mohamed Ramadan Sparks Controversy Again with Pictures of Money on Private Plane

Ramadan performed several concerts in the United States during the past week, and also sparked controversy when he appeared naked from his upper half while riding a camel and wandering the streets of America, where it was said that it was a depiction of one of the songs that the artist will release soon.

The tweeters differed in their reactions to the pictures of Ramadan with bundles of dollars next to him on the plane. Some considered it provocative, deliberate and controversial behavior that the artist used to, while others considered them ordinary pictures and indicated that Ramadan won a lot from his concerts in America, and a third team found that there are those who criticize Such behavior is because it comes from Ramadan, and he may not criticize it if it was from someone else.

And after the controversy raged, Ramadan resorted to deleting the pictures in which the dollars appear clearly, and he was satisfied with one picture in which the dollars appear shyly.

This was not the first time that Ramadan raised controversy by publishing pictures of dollars. In April 2021, he appeared in a video clip throwing a large amount of money into a swimming pool.

What helped fuel the controversy at the time was that the matter coincided with the issuance of a court ruling against him obliging him to pay compensation of 6 million pounds in favor of the late pilot Ashraf Abu Al-Yusr in the famous case between them, but it later became clear that this was part of the filming of a song.

Sky News Arabia tried to obtain clarification from Muhammad Ramadan or his business manager, his brother Mahmoud Ramadan, about the nature of the new images and whether they were in artwork or what, but they did not respond to a request for comment.

And art critic Khaled Mahmoud considered that “to look objectively at these behaviors, Mohamed Ramadan must be removed from the context of the artist’s natural life, whether with regard to his behavior in his private life or his life on the screen.”

He added, in an interview with “Sky News Arabia”: “Ramadan took a method and method that deliberately stirred controversy around himself, as he is happy with that.”

And he continued: “If Ramadan thought that the controversy raised about him every time would be directed at his work and about his performance of strong personalities and roles that remain in the viewers’ memory, it would be another matter. Ramadan took advantage of the communication sites and their huge impact on people’s lives and seeks to always be the focus of their attention.” on these means with controversial behavior.”

For his part, art critic Walid Abu Al-Saud said that in these new images, Ramadan continues to review and try to prove his success, which is success that can only be translated into two images, the first: the crowd flocking around him, and the second is the abundance of money and the manifestations of the obscene wealth that he lives.

Abu Saud pointed out that “Ramadan continues to attract the imagination of the marginalized class in society and that he is one of them and was able to reach dollars and now owns millions of them, to assure them that he is their legend who was able to penetrate the ranks of the rich class and enter among them.”

The art critic concluded his speech by saying that Ramadan was not satisfied with this, but rather called himself “Number One”, a title that does not exist on the ground. Ramadan in TV dramas, instead of exploiting this artistically, seeks and deliberately stirs up controversy that many people lose appreciation for.
