Remittances from Egyptians abroad recorded $12 billion during the period from July to December 2022
The Central Bank of Egypt said in a statement issued early this morning, Wednesday, that the current account deficit improved in the first half of the fiscal year 2022-2023 (the months from July to December of 2022) to $1.8 billion, compared to $1.8 billion. 7.8 billion dollars during the same period a year ago.
The bank stated that remittances from Egyptians abroad amounted to $12 billion during the period from July to December 2022.
