Egyptian man demands ex-fiancée pay expenses spent during engagement period

Al-Marsad Newspaper: An Egyptian young man demanded that his ex-fiancée pay the list of expenses he spent on her throughout the engagement period.

And the young man wrote the total expenses on her on a piece of paper, which amounted to 10,840 Egyptian pounds, asking her to pay it.

The image of the young man’s expense statement sparked widespread controversy, especially since among the expenses that the young man wrote down in the paper circulating on social networking sites were expenses for food, fruits, and cinema tickets.

The young man explained in the list of expenses that he did not count outings, breaks, transportation, and what was spent in cafes or lunches that were usually outside at his expense.
