Journalist Amr Adeeb, presenter of the Al-Hekaya program on MBC Egypt, said that the minimum wage announced by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of the Republic will be 4,000 pounds, equivalent to 100 dollars, noting that all goods are imported in dollars, including oil, rice, sugar, and gasoline. It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade, starting today, has launched Mawlid sweets in the “Ahlan Schools” exhibitions and consumer complex outlets, which number 1,300 outlets at the level of all the outlets of companies affiliated with the Holding Company for Food Industries, affiliated with the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade.
Dr. Ali Al-Moselhi, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, said that the Ministry offered the Prophet’s Birthday sweets in its consumer complexes, and that he directed the holding company that the sweets offered be of high quality.
Al-Moselhi added that it is being offered at discounts of up to 25%, to reduce the burden on citizens and provide their needs for Mawlid al-Nabawi sweets, noting that these sweets were manufactured in bakeries and companies affiliated with the Ministry.
For his part, Major General Khaled Abdullah, CEO of the General Company for Wholesale Trade, confirmed that the company is participating with a pavilion in the “Ahlan Schools” exhibitions at the level of all governorates.
Abdullah added that large quantities of Mawlid candy have been pumped into consumer malls in packages starting from 1 kilogram of mix at a price of 100 pounds, and 2 kilograms of mix at a price of 200 pounds per package.
It is noteworthy that the prices of the boxes of Mawlid al-Nabi sweets, which were offered through the Sugar and Integrated Industries Company, were as follows: a 1-kilo box at a price of 80 pounds, a 2-kilo box at a price of 175 pounds, a 3-kilo box at a price of 285 pounds, a 4-kilo box at a price of 400 pounds, a box The bride’s Mawlid sweets cost 600 pounds.
