Al-Marsad newspaper: Social media users circulated a video clip of an Egyptian girl speaking in the Kuwaiti dialect.
The video showed a girl inside a “hairdresser” beauty salon, speaking in the Kuwaiti dialect with the hairdresser’s owner, saying: “Hello, by God, what color are you? By God, there is something else after makeup. My brother, by God, today is his wedding. I swear I will dance.”
In the following snapshots of the video, the girl appeared thanking the hairdresser owner, saying: “May God bless you, may God grant you health and wellness, and we will see you as the most beautiful person in the universe.”
The clip sparked a state of interaction on social networking sites, and a tweeter commented, saying: “Mashallah, Gulf language is one of the easiest dialects.” A tweeter added: “The rest of you say the famous sentence, ‘Who is this joke?’” While one tweeter said: “I did not see a Kuwaiti accent.”
