Al-Marsad newspaper: Two young Egyptian men and an Egyptian woman conducted a genetic examination through a specialized company to find out their origins.
Researcher Mohamed Abdel Hadi, one of the officials of the company that conducted the examination, explained that the examinations indicate Egyptians’ contact with their ancestors among the Pharaohs and their affiliation with them. According to Al Arabiya.net.

He said, “The first result of a young man named Muhammad Hammam from the Tama Center in Sohag, residing in America, who wanted to explore his origins, showed that he appeared on a paternal line known scientifically as the Y-Chromosome, which is the paternal line, Y-DNA, which traces the lineage of the nerve and origin in terms of the ancestral line.”
He pointed out that Hammam’s result clearly confirmed his meeting with his Pharaoh ancestors and his identification with one of the mummies dating back to 6600 BC.
Pharaonic and African origins
He continued, the second case of a young man named Majed Al-Abyad, from a Cairene family whose roots go back to the Sohag Governorate in the south of the country as well, and who currently resides outside Egypt, revealed that he also belongs to Pharaonic origins at a rate of approximately 70%, with Arab origins of approximately 12%, then African origins at a rate of 10%, which are percentages that reflect the Egyptians’ contact with… neighboring countries.
woman
He added, the third case is of an Egyptian Coptic woman named Marian Nassif, from the city of Akhmim, Sohag Governorate, and who also resides abroad. He stated that the genetic origins of Marianne go back to 92% of ancient mummies, as their results represent a great similarity to the Egyptian genetic pool, and this time through an Autosomal DNA examination that is useful for the total genetic origins of the ancestors across generations.
