Books – Amr Saleh:

Hussein Abu Saddam, head of the General Farmers Syndicate, revealed his expectations regarding meat prices during the coming period. Especially with the advent of the holy month of Ramadan, during which the demand for meat products increases significantly.

Hussein Abu Saddam said, during statements he made to “Masrawy”: that meat prices during the coming period will witness a significant decrease in their prices; Especially after the price of a kilo of meat fell from 190 pounds to 150 pounds this week, as a result of the decline in the price of feed and valuable materials and the collapse of the dollar in the parallel market, following the government’s conclusion of the “Ras El Hekma” deal.

The head of the General Farmers Syndicate added that the price of a kilo of meat to the public at the beginning of the second half of Ramadan is expected to reach 300 pounds in the cities and 270 in the countryside, noting that this period witnesses a decrease in the demand of citizens and their tendency to buy sweets and Eid baked goods.
