5- The Egyptian Electricity Holding Company resorted to this program to reduce loads until the gas network returns to its strength and pumps the quantities required to generate the energy that citizens need.
6- The plan drawn up by the holding company will play an important role in rationalizing citizens’ consumption of electricity, as it warned against using electric elevators 10 minutes before and 10 minutes after each hour, in addition to avoiding operating some devices such as washing machines and air conditioning during this specified period, which ensures reducing loads on the network for 20 minutes with the help of the citizen.
And the Egyptian Electricity Holding Company had announced that a program would be implemented to reduce loads in all 9 electricity distribution companies nationwide. It started to be applied from midnight yesterday to start the current disconnection, taking into account that the disconnection begins with a period of time 10 minutes before the start of the hour and 10 minutes after it, and that the duration of the disconnection does not exceed one hour from the time of disconnection.
And the Egyptian Electricity Holding Company, in a statement today, on its official page on the social networking site Facebook, appealed to citizens not to use elevators during the time set by the electricity distribution companies to disconnect the current if it is needed.
