The Competitions Committee of the Egyptian Football Association decided to suspend Ibrahim Metwally, the Egyptian club worker, for a period of two seasons, and prevent him from being with the team in matches.
And the Competitions Committee announced in its statement: Ibrahim Metwally, a worker in the dressing rooms of the Egyptian club, was prevented from accompanying the team in matches for a period of two years, starting from the date of the match, for what he did after the end of the match.
Al-Ahly club defeated Al-Masry Al-Port Said, with two goals to one, during the match that was held between them in the quarter-finals of the Egypt Cup.
A video clip was circulated after the match, of the worker in the technical staff of the Egyptian club, who tore and trampled the Al-Ahly club shirt with his foot after the match ended.
