Al-Marsad newspaper: Egyptian artist Sama Al-Masry was a guest on the “Qaada Stat” program, broadcast on the Egyptian satellite channel “Al-Youm”, in her first media appearance after her release from prison.
Cases of insult and defamation
She explained that she was an inmate in a correctional and rehabilitation center, noting that about 20 cases were filed against her by Counselor Mortada Mansour, the former president of the Egyptian Zamalek Club.
She sent a message of thanks to Mortada Mansour, saying: “The truth is that I waive all the cases of insult and slander that were filed against me.”

She added that the cases filed by Mortada Mansour, he dropped them, even though he was the person she clashed with the most and problems occurred between them, and commented: “Thank you and your great kindness, he turned out to be more brilliant than many people I knew.”
She added: “There were people who were filing lawsuits against me, and they said we would give up, but that did not happen, and I did not expect Mortada Mansour to give up on any case.”
She added while crying: “I made a mistake against him, and I made a mistake against many people, and also against my family. He was imprisoned for three years, and I did not know during the prison period whether I would go out to see my mother or not, and I wronged myself.”
