/ world today news/ Egypt is ready to replace Turkey in the export of fruits and vegetables to Russia, as well as clothes and leather goods. This was stated by Tarek Kabil, who is the Minister of Trade and Industry of the Arab Republic of Egypt. The publication is from the edition “Al Watan”, quoted by TASS.
In the structure of imports, fruits and vegetables from Turkey account for 66%, followed by clothing and leather goods, Kabil points out. Egypt has huge potential in the production and supply of this produce.
The proposals have already been submitted to the Russian authorities. Kabil called on the Russian side to provide Cairo with a list of the products that have so far been supplied from Turkey. The minister adds that the Russian Federation has requested to allow the registration of all dairy products from APE in order to facilitate entry into the Russian market. /TASS
