A man residing in Al-Marg neighborhood in Cairo governorate killed his six-year-old son after his ex-wife won a custody case, media reported.
And Marwa, the mother of little Badr, explained in statements to the newspaper:SunriseShe said she separated from her husband two years ago over his misbehavior and his constant beatings and humiliations, but her only son, Badr, continued to hesitate between them until he learned that his father “beat him severely.”
She confirmed that one day she saw her son’s body mutilated by the severity of his torture, so she decided to file a lawsuit to include custody of the child with her grandmother, the mother’s mother.
The mother indicated that she gave birth to her son after 16 years of waiting, noting that when her father learned of the court ruling that the mother’s family had the right to include custody of the child, he decided to “turn on the fire in my heart and take revenge on me and deprive me of my only son forever.”
Investigations revealed that the father severely beat his son with a large stick, “Al-Soma” all over his body, amid the boy’s attempts to escape from his hands.
The murderous father admitted trampling his little one underfoot until his last breath, then fled to his eldest son from another marriage, who lives in Al-Zawiya Al-Hamra neighborhood. and clashed with his father before handing him over to the police.
The mother referred to the many differences between her and her ex-husband, his constant assault on her, his imprisonment, his drug use and his cheating on her.
