Egypt Postpones 32nd Session of Arab Music Festival and Conference due to Violent Escalation

The Egyptian Ministry of Culture decided, according to a statement on Sunday, to postpone the 32nd session of the Arab Music Festival and Conference, organized by the Cairo Opera House, which was scheduled to be held during the period from October 24 to November 2.

According to a statement by the Ministry of Culture, a new date for the festival will be set later.

The decision to postpone the Arab Music Festival is not the only one related to cultural events and activities in the Middle East region, as it was decided to postpone some of them in Arab countries in solidarity with the Palestinians.

The current round of conflict began on Saturday, October 7, with a sudden armed operation called “Al-Aqsa Flood” launched by the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) against Israel, and Tel Aviv responded with a counter-operation called “Iron Swords.”
