Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Egyptian artist Khaled Abu Al-Naga has posted a tweet in response to an earlier tweet by Egyptian opposition YouTuber, Abdullah Al-Sharif, in which he said: “There is no one in line with you first.”
Abu Al-Naga’s tweet came in response to a tweet by Abdullah Al-Sharif dating back to the year 2019, in which he said: “We are not on our side, artists, influencers, celebrities and scholars outside of Egypt. to the sewage cesspool overflowing, huh, do you agree?
In response to Abu Al-Naga’s comment, Abdullah Al-Sharif said, “The tweet is from three years ago, Khaled. When I thought of you as men.”
Interestingly, Abdullah Al-Sharif was among those who called for demonstrations in Egypt last November 11 against Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, which the Egyptian lawmaker commented on, saying in a tweet at the time: “After the conspirators have failed, they began to ask their sleeper cells to postpone, poor people, they deserve mercy, they think that the suffering of the Egyptian people will push them to destroy their country and they respond to their aspirations to return to rule Egypt again, you are lost…”
