Al-Marsad newspaper: an Egyptian court decided to refer the papers of 9 people from a family, including two women, to the Mufti of the Republic to consider the death sentence, after they were convicted of killing a person and mutilating his body in southern Egypt.
The nine killed the victim with knives, mutilated his body and wounded another, against the backdrop of a quarrel that broke out due to differences in lineage.
Through security investigations, it became clear that the cause of the accident was a quarrel between two families in Minya governorate. The perpetrators persecuted the victim’s family, carrying sidearms and sticks, on a street near their home.
Not only did the criminals kill the victim, they mutilated his body and hit him with their car.
Egyptian security forces arrested the defendant, a man, his wife, their three children, his brother, his wife and their two children, and were referred to the criminal court, which issued the advanced verdict.
