When signing with FK Senica at the start of the season, Egy was tied to a six-month contract with the option of an extension. When the Slovak League entered the season break in December, Egy’s contract expired at the club.
So far, there has been no official announcement from FK Senica regarding Egy’s future. That’s what made Senica flooded with questions in their Instagram column.
When FK Senica uploaded a replay of Egy’s goal against Thailand, the comment column was dominated by netizens from Indonesia. They questioned Egy’s contract and some of them also asked Senica to immediately announce a contract extension.
While at FK Senica, Egy Maulana Vikri himself showed performance developments compared to his work at Lechia Gdansk.
According to Egy’s wishes, Senica gave Egy more playing minutes than when he was at Lechia Gdansk. Egy was able to pay for the opportunity well.
Currently Egy has scored two goals and provided four assists in his work with Senica. Egy also regularly fills the list of FK Senica’s core players.
When the AFF Cup was held in early December, Egy could not immediately join the Indonesian national team because Senica still needed Egy’s energy to face the busy schedule in the Slovak League.
