At one time there was great alarmism about the consumption of egg, in particular for cholesterol and, therefore, for heart problems. Over the years, however, it has been proven by science that eggs are very nutritious, that it is not wrong to eat them for breakfast, that they can do a lot for our body.

For example, the danger to the heart has been denied several times, of course paying attention to the right quantities. In 2018, a group of Chinese scholars demonstrated with a Research Turning to 500,000 people who eating an egg a day decreased the risk of cardiovascular disease and more. To date, the same research group has wanted to deepen the topic.

The researchers, supported by the team from the University of Oxford, took the original research group, then the 500,000 people and of these selected about 3,400 who recently had a diagnosis of cardiovascular problems. The scholars asked them to answer questions, to keep their situation documented over the course of 12 months on 11 types of foods and their eating habits.

The goal was to focus more on egg consumption, whether regular or not, and see how this has affected people’s health. Laboratory tests have identified a number of metabolites and markers. By crossing all the data collected on result it was once again clear: those with cardiovascular disease had not regularly consumed eggs. While, those who ate one a day on average had more protection.
