Eggi Sudjana asked President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) to attend the trial for the alleged false diploma. Eggi is the legal representative of Bambang Tri Mulyono, the actor Jokowi’s diploma.
“In this process, it is an official legal event. We are all considered to be in the know. One thing that needs to be remembered is that this is a personal matter, personal to Jokowi,” Eggi Sudjana said in a hearing at the Central District Court. Meanwhile, the chairman of the jury, Heneng Pujadi, said that all parties, both the plaintiff and the accused, had the right to be represented by their legal representatives. The judge also questioned why the plaintiff was not present at the trial.
