The reflection of Egan Bernal
The Colombian is working hard to be able to reach the best level for the following season, where he aims to improve the performance shown in the different competitions in which he participated in 2023. It is for this reason that the Zipaquireño has put himself to the test during the last weeks before the end of the year.
On the climb to Alto de la Cuchilla in Guasca, the Ineos Grenadiers runner sent a message to all his followers: “Last training sessions before traveling to the first training camp of 2024, this time guided by you. You have to know this 11km climb at 6% reaching 3,300 meters.” Additionally, the Colombian beetle left a reflection for all people.
“Well guys, as promised, you made me come here, to La Cuchilla, and the truth is that it made me a mess during the day, I’m fine here in the Alto de la Cuchilla at 3,300 meters high and the truth is that a very, very beautiful landscape. The reflection of the day is that we have absolutely nothing to envy the Alps, the Pyrenees, nothing to do with this landscape, I’ll leave it there. Thank you very much for making me come here, a little hard, but the truth is it was worth it with this view,” said Egan Berna, who is already concentrating with the British team for the preseason and adjusting details of the 2024 calendar.
