The immense hotel that the Efteling amusement park in Kaatsheuvel will build in the coming years will be called the Efteling Grand Hotel. And that it will be a large hotel can clearly be seen on the first drawings that the amusement park released on Wednesday. Staying overnight and making a ‘dream flight’ will be possible in the course of 2024.
The hotel is located between the park entrance and the Aquanura attraction. The building will have no less than seven floors and is 106 meters wide. In the middle is a huge pendulum clock. According to the Efteling, it should become a real eye-catcher.
The hotel will have a copper roof with seven towers. The intention is that oxidation will eventually turn the copper roof green.

When the hotel guests open the curtains of their room in the morning, they will have a view of the Aquanura and the Fairytale Forest. According to Efteling, the architecture of the hotel fits seamlessly with the characteristic buildings that are already in the park.
The Efteling Grand Hotel will have 143 rooms and approximately seven hundred beds. This brings the total number of beds on the Efteling site to almost 3900. The new hotel will also have a spa with swimming pool. The building also houses two more restaurants and some shops.
After the summer, the first shovel will go into the ground and the Efteling Grand Hotel is expected to open in 2024. The exact construction costs of the hotel are unknown, but it would involve an investment of millions.
