EFootball will delay the arrival of the final and mobile version until spring 2022

EFootball 2022 received a new update, version 0.9.1, but this is just a minor release, which was a stepping stone to the larger 1.0.0 update scheduled for November 11th.

Konami has postponed the arrival of the successor to the Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) saga, the final version (1.0.0) of the soccer video game eFootball 2022, as well as the mobile version, which in both cases will only arrive in the spring of 2022.

EFootball has been available for free on PCs and consoles since September 30, 2022, in the new format of the saga, with updates that will be expanded with additional content.

The Japanese video game studio planned to release the latest 1.0.0 update of the game on November 11, as well as a mobile version for iOS and Android, but it was announced via Twitter that these plans would be postponed until spring 2022.

“We are working as hard as we can to provide the experience our players expect and deserve by the spring of 2022,” Konami said, apologizing and thanking the players for their patience.

Following the decision, Konami announced that it will automatically cancel and refund the eFootball Pre-orders for the 2022 Premium Player Pack, which included items that can only be used in the game after the 1.0.0 update.

However, eFootball 2022 received new content this Friday with the release of version 0.9.1 for PCs and consoles, which fixes a number of issues from previous versions.
