Almost in the middle of the route are the two major projects that will change the “face” of EFKA.
The first major project concerns the implementation of a new Integrated Information System, while the second also major project is the digitization of the insurance history of all insured persons.
EFKA and pending pensions
In fact, as the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Panos Tsakloglou, recently mentioned in an interview, when these two projects are completed, the problem of outstanding pensions in our country will be finally resolved.
Integrated Information System: This project foresees the integration of the 88 different EFKA databases into a system that will also communicate with the systems of the Insurance Debt Collection Center (KEAO), so that the EFKA runs at a higher speed.
The citizen will be able to check with the Agency what stage his pension is at and who is the employee who will manage his file. But at the same time, the employees will be able to do their work better and everyone will have access to the same system and the same data.
Digitization of the insurance life of all citizens: The second project includes the digitization of the IDs of those insured before 2002. Upon completion of the project, the citizen will be able to have a full picture and full access to his insurance CV, that is, he will be able to see all his badges and insurance time electronically.
Real time update
Upon completion, these two major projects will have two tangible results that will change the daily lives of citizens and EFKA employees. The insured will be able to have immediate information about the amount of the pension they have built up, after some years of insurance life. Thus, each insured person will know at all times the amount of money he will receive at the given moment of his working life, based on age, earnings and marks.
The “digitalization of the insurance history of e-EFKA” will transform the entire paper record of all the funds that joined “forcibly” in 2016 under the “umbrella” of EFKA. All the required information will then be in one system. Once the drafter has all the information on his screen, issuing the main or subsidiary draft will be a matter of minimal time.
