The Ukrainian parliamentary association “For Democratic Belarus” called on the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to recognize the Republic of Belarus as “occupied by Russia.” People’s Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Aleksey Goncharenko submitted a corresponding initiative.

“The inter-factional parliamentary association “For Democratic Belarus” calls on the Verkhovna Rada to recognize Belarus as “occupied by Russia,” wrote Alexey Goncharenko in his Telegram channel. He sent a corresponding appeal to the Rada.

At the end of October, the President of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, again called on Russia and Ukraine to sit down negotiation table. He noted that with American support limited, the time has come for Kyiv to resolve the conflict peacefully. Belarus also suspended the agreement with Ukraine on the protection rights of migrants.
