DECREASING… The number of cases associated with COVID-19 in Vaslui County has decreased sharply, being registered only 8 positive cases in testing, in 24 hours! We have almost zero cases of Covid-19, the incidence reaching on December 14, at 0.26 / 1000 inhabitants and a number of only 8 SARS-CoV-2 infections detected in the last 24 hours. We are on the 2nd place in the country, after Gorj county, with the second lowest Covid-19 incidence rate of 0.26 / 1000 inhabitants. We now have 45 Covid-19-free ATUs with zero cases. Vaslui is 100% in the green area, and all the 86 ATUs that make up the county have a rate between 0 and 2.24 per thousand inhabitants.
On December 14, the cumulative incidence rate throughout the county reached 0.26 / 1000 inhabitants, only 8 new cases were registered and no person was reconfirmed positively at retest. No deaths have been reported since December 11 due to the infection with Covid – 19. The number of hospitalizations in the hospitals in Bârlad and Vaslui, regarding the Covid-19 epidemic, in wave 4 Bârlad at the moment: 24 per ward and 2 in ATI, as well as 20 people hospitalized in Vaslui Hospital: 20 per ward and 0 in ATI, and 91 people are positive at home.
The number of vaccinated people is declining! DSP Vaslui appeals to unvaccinated people
Regarding the epidemiological situation in Vaslui County, regarding the evolution of the vaccination campaign, DSP Vaslui informs the population that, until yesterday, December 14, in the county, 213,146 doses of vaccine were used to immunize the citizens of the county (110,079 doses for first administration, 79,708 for dose 2 and 23,359 for dose 3). On December 13, 583 people were vaccinated.
“We mention that 147 people received dose 1, 207 people received dose 2 and 229 people received dose 3. Since the beginning of this year, on the territory of Vaslui county, 42,745 people were tested, out of which 23,552 people by rapid antigenic test and 19,193 people by standard RT – PCR test. Following these tests, 19,062 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID-19) have been confirmed so far, 23,208 people had a negative result, 470 people had an equivocal result and 5 people had an invalid result. In the last 24 hours, 81 people were tested, of which 4 people were tested positive for SARS – CoV – 2 (COVID – 19) and 77 people had a negative result. Currently, there are 150 active cases of coronavirus in Vaslui County. Vaccination remains the best solution for protection against COVID-19. Vaccination against COVID-19: reduces the risk of infection; reduces the risk of transmitting the virus; the risk of hospitalization is considerably reduced; the risk of death is considerably reduced. The Vaslui Public Health Directorate supports and recommends vaccination.
