Ajax announces the amount of the termination compensation in the annual report. Van der Sar also received a bonus of 200,000 euros. The former director received a variable remuneration that is partly related to predetermined goals in the areas of management and organization, budget results, overall coordination and communication and partly related to the sporting performance of the main force.
“In connection with the termination of Van der Sar’s employment, a settlement agreement was agreed, with a termination payment of 300,000 euros,” it said. ‘The parties also agreed on a payment of 200,000 euros for the bonus linked to objectives, taking into account the termination of the employment contract at Van der Sar’s own request.
